The D:Scribe digital fountain pen has been getting lots of media coverage lately.
Yanko design was the first to highlight the pen (no pun intended) and has since been mirrored on many websites.

Oh, and on another note, I came across a Russian site with my product on it, and the translation was fine, the only problem is that this is what it said:
Do I look Korean? Maybe I do? Where do people get their facts from? And the pen can now scan images? Wow.

Designer from Korea Ruben Peng created the concept pens D: Scribe designed specifically for writing e-mail - e-mail and sms.
The user can simply write messages directly on paper. The device has not only all the usual features pens, but also recognizes written and even can scan images.
Manufactured letter can be sent to another device on Bluetooth. It's enough to write a user ID and outline his circle. After receiving a letter on the computer or cell phone, it can be passed on by e-mail or sms.
Will started production of D: Scribe, as well as what would be the technical specifications of the device and the indicative price is not known yet.
Do I look Korean? Maybe I do? Where do people get their facts from? And the pen can now scan images? Wow.

Hey Reuben,
I have to say stumbled upon your invention while checking out another product, the livescribe pulse pen. If you haven't already heard about this, here is the website: http://www.livescribe.com/
There are many parts of their product that go well beyond yours, but I think you should email them for some collaboration. Your design has 2 features that I really like, firstly it is a fountain pen!!! I go to unsw and frankly there are far too many ballpoint pens, students need to use the smooth writing of the fountain pen. And secondly your email and connectivity functions.
Hope that suggestions is constructive, i really like both designs and to me the perfect pen would be the mixture of both.
